Brian ran and ran and ran. He was late, his mom was going to be very mad at him. As Brian ran home one tought echoed in his head, being twelve sucks.
Before Brian knew it, he was lost. He was in some woods, he didn't understand. "I live in the city..." he muttered as he looked around. Brian's heart began to beet, harder and harder. What if theres a murderer around here? I wouldn't be able to win! Brian thought. He began to sweat with anticipation. Through his fear Brian managed to keep a straight face, he walked foward.
Every sound the forest made caused Brian to tense. "I wonder what moms doing," Brian said to himself as he walked foward steadily. Brian looked down at his own shoes, he didn't want to look foward at the forest, he didn't want to look at the darkness of it. "This is more like a jungle than a forest," Brian said, pushing past tree braches. "Besides,I've never even heard of this forest. I'm probably going to die in this place, it's huge!!!" Brian wailed at the top of his lungs. He just needed to get rid of some anger. He quickly regreted yelling.
There was a ryhymatic thumping sound, getting louder and louder. So loud in fact that Brian could no longer ignore it. He stopped walking and listened to the thumps. A grunt came along, it followed the thumps like a dog follows it's owner.
Brian stood motionless as the sounds became louder and louder. He felt his face and ears becoming hot with fear. Brian felt like moving but his legs were glued to the floor. "Move legs, move," he muttered powerlessly. Brian looked around nervously, "it's probably somebody here to help me. Yeah! someone here to help me."He was obviously in denial.
Brian felt feeling come back to life, his legs felt solide now, as solid as a rock. With his legs back to life he ran at full speed. Something tells me that whoever...or whatever is behind me won't help, Brian thought as he ran. Brian turned around and listened, "darn," he muttered, his face had a grim look, it had no hope in it. "This thing must be a cheetah or something! I can still hear it coming, and it's closer." Brian wiped a bead of sweat from his face and ran foward again.
Brian was leaning against a tree panting heavily. He closed his eyes. "I wish I'd never gone out today," he muttered as he let his body slid down the bark of the tree, he was now sitting down, his elbows on his knees. Brian became as still as unbothered water. He tried to hear the mysterious creature that followed him but he heard nothing. He let ot a small sigh of relief, at least the thing was gone.
Brian's relief left him as he turned around and saw the creature. It looked like a bull, except it looked alot bigger, as Brian let his gaze go down to the bull's feet he saw it completly. It had a human torso! "What are you?" Brian said, his voice sounded more like a whisper now. "I'm a minotaur," the bull creature said in a simple tone, as if it were common knowledge that anyone should know. Brian garsped and got up. He wasn't expecting a reply. I'm going crazy, Brian thought. No, this is probably a dream. More like a nightmare, he corrected himself.
The minotaur raised itself to it's front hooves. Brian backed away from the creature, but he hit the tree. "You have trespassed on my lair human, now you shall pay with your life." The minotaur lowered it's head and showed Brian it's sharp horns. Brian stared at the horns with wide-eyes, does horns can demolish a car, it can easily pierce his flesh.
"What are you talking about?" Brian finnaly said. "This is a forest." The Minotaur changed his face, now it looked more like a smirk, or at least thats what Brian thought his face looked like. "Look again, human," Brian turned towards the forest. What he saw made him stare in amazement
Brian wasn't staring at the trees and grasses and bushes, he was now looking at walls, many, many walls. "What the...!!!" he screamed, but he was cut short, the creature was running towards him. "I shall eat your flesh and drink your blood!" the minotaur screamed, his horns were pointed at Brian. Brian turned away from the horned creature and ran. He ran right into a wall, "ow..." he muttered as he rubbed his nose.
The Minotaur laughed at Brians pitiful atempths of escaping. "Now now little human don't run, it will be less painful," the Minotaur said, his speed stayed constant. "Or not," it said under it's breathe.
